A Winter Wedding Fairytale
A violin echoes off the bannisters of Woods Chapel and voices climb upwards to join it. The sun, soft and golden, glints through the wintery scene outside to fall onto the arms of a large cross that hangs suspended between the couple. They pledge their 'I do's', and as the people stand in celebration the setting sun lights up the surrounding snow, and everything that could shine on this wintery day, does. A moment nothing short of magical, and Chris & Abby Stein are married.
From the very start of the day, it was clear that it was going to be magical. Snow had fallen the night before, and hung fresh in the trees. The sun was gently present for a majority of the day, and the Woods Chapel venue in Delano gave off a very quaint fairytale cottage vibe. The only thing that wasn't magical was the temperature, which stayed at a pretty steady below freezing the entire day! But the bridal party and groomsmen did not let that faze them, and their joy at being a part of this day for both Abby & Chris was extremely evident, almost pervasively warding off the cold temps that were the only downside to this day.
When it came time for Chris & Abby's turn to take some photos just the two of them, the snow cooperated even MORE and fell from the trees beautifully!! The happy couple was beaming, and with the lovely winter woods backdrop, it was their fairytale to tell as they laughed and danced their way through their photos.
Top the night off with a reception complete with a bouquet toss and plenty of dancing, and the fairytale was complete! And of course, a sparkler exit to send them off! All in all, a wedding that was truly one for the books!
